Ramoji Group appoints Raghav Grandhi as Chief Information Security Officer to strengthen cybersecurity strategy

Raghav Grandhi has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Ramoji Group, effective March 2026. Based in Hyderabad, he will lead the group’s overall cybersecurity vision and oversee the protection of its extensive digital ecosystem across businesses.

In his new role, Grandhi will be responsible for building resilient security architectures, implementing global compliance frameworks, and safeguarding critical digital assets and intellectual property. His mandate includes strengthening risk management practices and ensuring that the organization remains protected against evolving cyber threats in an increasingly complex digital environment.

Grandhi brings with him over 21 years of experience in information security and IT infrastructure, making him a seasoned expert in cybersecurity leadership. Prior to joining Ramoji Group, he served as Associate Vice President at Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, where he led the organization’s overall security strategy in the financial services sector. During his tenure from Apr 2023 to Mar 2026, he was responsible for establishing and enforcing security policies, conducting risk assessments and audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while proactively addressing emerging cyber risks.

At Spandana, he also held the role of Senior Manager Information Security from Apr 2023 to May 2024, where he focused on developing and implementing robust security frameworks. His work involved vulnerability management, incident response, IT governance, and building organization-wide security awareness. He played a key role in deploying advanced security tools and ensuring data integrity across systems.

Before his stint in financial services, Grandhi served as Senior Manager Information Security at Incozen Therapeutics Pvt. Ltd. from Apr 2021 to Sep 2022. In this role, he led strategic cybersecurity initiatives within the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on protecting sensitive research data and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

His diverse professional background also includes leadership roles across multiple industries such as infrastructure at GVPR Engineers Ltd. and aviation at GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd.. This cross-industry experience has equipped him with a broad understanding of cybersecurity challenges across critical sectors.

A Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Grandhi specializes in Zero-Trust Architecture, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, including frameworks such as GDPR and RBI guidelines. His expertise in aligning security strategy with business objectives is expected to play a key role in strengthening Ramoji Group’s digital resilience.

The appointment comes at a time when large enterprises are prioritizing cybersecurity leadership to address rising threats and regulatory requirements. With Grandhi at the helm of its security function, Ramoji Group aims to reinforce its cybersecurity posture and ensure robust protection of its digital infrastructure in the years ahead.
