
Gaurav Govind Parrikar has been elevated to Vice President – Engineering at Persistent Systems, marking a significant milestone in his long-standing career with the organization. In his expanded leadership role, he will drive engineering excellence, oversee large-scale delivery, and strengthen innovation-led capabilities while supporting the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Parrikar will focus on scaling engineering operations, enhancing delivery frameworks, and building high-performance teams to support enterprise clients. His mandate also includes contributing to innovation-driven programs and ensuring operational efficiency across projects.
Prior to this elevation, he served as Associate Vice President and Senior Engineering Partner at Persistent Systems, where he played a key role in driving delivery excellence and managing P&L responsibilities. During this period, he was instrumental in scaling engineering teams and improving execution across complex programs.
Over a distinguished tenure spanning more than 20 years with Persistent Systems, Parrikar has progressed through multiple leadership roles including Engineering (Delivery) Partner, Engineering Manager, and Project Lead. His experience includes leading project delivery, driving agile practices, and ensuring high-quality execution across development lifecycles.
He began his professional journey with ControlNet India Pvt Ltd, where he built a strong foundation in software testing and automation.
With deep expertise in agile project management, delivery leadership, and engineering operations, Parrikar has consistently contributed to building scalable systems and high-performing teams. His elevation reflects Persistent Systems’ focus on strengthening its engineering leadership as it continues to expand its global delivery and innovation capabilities.
