Sharath Bharadwaj has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Routeware, Inc.. In this role, he will lead the company’s global technology strategy, focusing on innovation, product engineering, and digital transformation to strengthen its position in smart waste and environmental solutions.
Sharath brings strong technology leadership experience with deep expertise across telematics, mobility platforms, and large-scale engineering systems. Prior to this appointment, he spent over 13 years at Azuga, Inc., most recently serving as Vice President of Engineering. During his tenure, he led large-scale engineering, DevOps, and product initiatives, while playing a key role in scaling technology platforms and driving operational excellence.
His progression at Azuga included leadership roles such as Director – Engineering and DevOps, Associate Director – Products and DevOps, and Manager – Products, DevOps and QA, reflecting a consistent track record of growth and impact. He also gained early experience at StreetSmart, where he built a strong foundation in quality assurance and engineering.
Sharath holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
