JP Morgan has appointed Rahul Badhwar as Senior Country Officer for India, strengthening its leadership presence in one of its key global markets. Badhwar will take over the role in July 2026 and will be based in Mumbai. He succeeds Kaustubh Kulkarni, who left the organization in September 2025. Rahul Badhwar joins JP Morgan from HSBC, where he most recently served as Global Head of Corporate Sales, Markets, and Securities Services in London. In this role, he was responsible for leading global client relationships and driving revenue growth across key financial markets businesses.
With extensive experience in global banking and financial services, Badhwar has built strong expertise in corporate sales, capital markets, and securities services. His leadership across international markets positions him well to lead JP Morgan’s India strategy and strengthen its competitive positioning in the region.
