Narayanan Easwaran has been appointed as Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Manappuram Finance Limited. In this role, he will be responsible for shaping the company’s enterprise-wide technology strategy, leading digital transformation initiatives, and advancing platform innovation to support long-term business growth.
He currently serves as President and Chief Information Officer at Equitas Small Finance Bank, where he has been driving technology-led initiatives across areas such as digital platforms, SaaS adoption, and strategic transformation. His experience in managing large-scale IT ecosystems and aligning technology with business priorities positions him well for his new role.
Prior to his tenure at Equitas, Easwaran spent nearly a decade at IDFC FIRST Bank as Co-Head of Information Technology, where he played a key role in building and scaling the bank’s technology infrastructure and supporting its digital evolution.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at 3i Infotech as Deputy General Manager, at Kotak Mahindra Bank as Assistant Vice President – IT, and at ICICI Bank as Senior Manager. During these roles, he gained extensive experience in IT systems, banking technology, and enterprise infrastructure, contributing to large-scale transformation programs across organizations.
