Subhash Shetty has taken on the role of Chief Risk Officer at Electronica Finance Limited, where he will be responsible for advancing enterprise risk governance, strengthening operational risk management, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the organization.
In this capacity, his focus will include developing robust frameworks for credit risk and enterprise risk management, supporting the company’s long-term growth and financial stability within the Indian BFSI sector.
He brings significant experience across the financial services industry, most recently spending over 7.5 years at Profectus Capital Pvt. Ltd. There, he held the roles of Head – Risk & Supply Chain Finance Credit and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), contributing to both risk leadership and security oversight.
Earlier, he was associated with Reliance Commercial Finance Ltd under the Reliance Group, where he played a key role in the credit function. In his last assignment there, he was heading Supply Chain Finance credit. During his tenure with the organization, he held multiple roles including National Credit Manager – Supply Chain Finance from December 2016 to June 2018, Head – Central Underwriting Team from April 2013 to November 2016, and Regional Credit Manager – SME from July 2007 to March 2013, all based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
His professional journey also includes experience at Standard Chartered Bank, where he was responsible for managing credit across Mortgages and SME business segments.
Subhash Shetty began his career with HSBC, where he gained early exposure to credit operations and financial risk systems, building a strong foundation in financial services.
With a career centered on strengthening risk frameworks, enabling sustainable growth, and supporting compliance across evolving regulatory environments, he is positioned to lead Electronica Finance Limited’s risk and governance agenda.
