Ontinue has appointed Moritz Mann as Chief Executive Officer, marking a key leadership transition as the company advances its AI-driven cybersecurity strategy.
Having spent over two decades with Ontinue, including his recent tenure as Chief Strategy Officer, Mann has played a central role in shaping the company’s Agentic SOC vision—an AI-native approach to managed security operations that combines human expertise with intelligent automation.
In his new role, he will focus on accelerating innovation, strengthening customer outcomes, and expanding Ontinue’s global footprint, particularly through its collaboration with Microsoft, as enterprises continue to adopt scalable, AI-led security solutions.
Prior to becoming CEO in April 2026, he served as Chief Strategy Officer at Ontinue from January 2023 to April 2026, where he was involved in strategic direction and performance-driven initiatives.
He also brings extensive experience from Open Systems, where he spent over two decades in multiple leadership roles. During this period, he served as Chief Strategy Officer from February 2020 to August 2024, based in Redwood City and Zürich, and earlier as Chief Product Officer from July 2018 to February 2020 in Zurich, Switzerland. In these roles, he contributed to defining and launching cloud-native security platform strategies, including Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR).
Commenting on the appointment, Dr. Bernd-Michael Rumpf, Chairman of the Board, highlighted Mann’s strong technical expertise, deep market understanding, and customer-focused execution as key factors behind the decision.
With a long-standing association with the organization and experience across strategy and product leadership, Moritz Mann is positioned to lead Ontinue’s next phase of growth in AI-driven cybersecurity.
