Gurpreet Kaur has been elevated to Director, Technical Product Management at Optum. In her expanded role, Kaur will lead the enterprise tools, platforms, infrastructure, and services portfolios. With nearly two decades at Optum, she has been instrumental in advancing AI/ML innovation, enterprise data analytics, cloud enablement, and product transformation initiatives across the healthcare technology ecosystem.
Before this elevation, she served as Associate Director – AI/ML Platform Capabilities in Healthcare at Optum, where she spearheaded multi-cloud AI/ML enablement across Amazon Web Services (AWS), GCP, and Microsoft Azure, while also driving Agentic AI capabilities and enterprise governance initiatives.
Over the course of her tenure, Kaur has held several leadership roles, including Senior Technical Product Manager – AI/ML Products, Software Engineering Manager, Project Delivery Lead, and Application Developer II. In these capacities, she contributed significantly to product strategy, cloud-native platform development, AI observability, and enterprise automation programs.
Prior to joining Optum, she worked with Aon as Functional System Analyst and Setup Configuration Analyst, where she developed expertise in system configuration, client implementations, and enterprise application development.
