Coverfox Insurance has announced the elevation of Shreyans Vijay to the position of Executive Director, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to expand its presence in India’s rapidly evolving insurance and insuretech sector. The appointment reflects the company’s focus on accelerating growth, expanding distribution capabilities, and strengthening innovation-led business operations across multiple verticals.
Prior to this elevation, Shreyans Vijay served as Chief Business Officer at Coverfox Insurance, where he played a critical role in scaling the company’s sales growth channels and expanding its distribution network. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to strategic business initiatives, operational expansion, and the development of growth-focused partnerships within the broader Coverfox Group ecosystem. His leadership was instrumental in driving market penetration and enhancing customer reach across diverse insurance segments.
Before joining Coverfox, Vijay led insurance business operations at Fisdom as Head of Insurance Business. In that role, he focused on strengthening business expansion strategies and driving growth initiatives within the digital financial services space. His experience in building scalable insurance distribution models and leveraging fintech-driven solutions helped position the business for stronger market engagement and operational efficiency.
Vijay also brings strong entrepreneurial experience to his new leadership role. He previously co-founded RFL Insurance Broking Private Limited, an insuretech venture aimed at simplifying insurance purchasing through technology-enabled omni-channel distribution models. The platform focused on improving customer accessibility and delivering seamless insurance experiences across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities in India. His entrepreneurial journey also includes serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Stuffed, a Mumbai-based food tech startup recognized for its innovative quick-service restaurant technology and consumer-focused business model.
In addition to his startup and insuretech experience, Vijay has held several senior positions across leading global financial institutions. His corporate career includes leadership and strategic roles at Barclays, JM Financial Ltd, Nomura, Lehman Brothers, and NCDEX. Across these organizations, he developed expertise in derivatives trading, institutional market strategy, econometric modelling, volatility trading, and risk management.
Industry observers believe Vijay’s broad experience spanning fintech, insuretech, entrepreneurship, and institutional finance positions him well to support Coverfox Insurance’s next phase of expansion.
