
Tata Communications has appointed Vivek Manglik as Executive Vice President, reinforcing the company’s leadership capabilities as global demand for enterprise connectivity and digital communication services continues to rise.
With nearly three decades of experience in the telecommunications and enterprise technology sector, Manglik brings extensive expertise across enterprise communications, telecom services, UCaaS, CCaaS, omni-channel messaging, mobility solutions, IoT, and international connectivity operations. His experience spans multiple strategic markets including APAC, Oceania, the Middle East, and India.
The appointment comes at a time when enterprises worldwide are rapidly accelerating digital transformation initiatives and increasing investments in cloud-based communication infrastructure, mobility platforms, and integrated enterprise connectivity ecosystems. Tata Communications continues to expand its focus on next-generation communication services, making leadership additions in this space increasingly significant.
Before joining Tata Communications, Manglik spent more than 15 years at airtel, where he served as Senior Vice President and Head – Global Business. During his tenure, he led strategic business portfolios related to enterprise communications, voice services, mobility solutions, and digital connectivity initiatives. He played an important role in strengthening global business operations and expanding enterprise-focused telecom services across international markets.
Earlier in his career, Manglik worked with VSNL, where he contributed to global business operations and mobility solution initiatives during a key phase of growth within the telecom sector. His experience across enterprise connectivity and global communications helped establish a strong foundation in large-scale telecom operations and customer-focused digital services.
Manglik began his professional journey at Hindustan Cables, where he was involved in telecom network deployment initiatives. His early exposure to network infrastructure and telecommunications operations contributed to the broad technical and operational expertise he later developed across international enterprise communication businesses.
At Tata Communications, Manglik is expected to contribute toward strengthening the company’s enterprise communication strategy, expanding global digital connectivity solutions, and supporting the evolving communication needs of businesses navigating increasingly digital and AI-enabled operational environments.
