Hilal Isar Khan has joined JSW Motors as its new Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO), taking charge of the company’s Digital and Information Technology functions. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading digital transformation initiatives, strengthening technology infrastructure, and supporting the organization’s strategic growth plans.
Khan brings more than three decades of experience in automotive information technology and large-scale digital transformation. Over the years, he has worked across various segments of the automotive industry, contributing to technology-driven innovation and modernization efforts. His expertise spans traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, hybrid technologies, and the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
Prior to joining JSW Motors, Khan served in leadership positions at Honda Cars India, where he played a significant role in advancing the company’s digital transformation agenda. His responsibilities included overseeing enterprise IT systems, manufacturing technology solutions, customer experience platforms, dealer digitalization programs, and connected mobility initiatives. Through these efforts, he helped drive operational efficiency and strengthen technology integration across the organization.
With the automotive sector increasingly relying on digital technologies, data-driven decision-making, and connected ecosystems, Khan’s appointment comes at a crucial time for JSW Motors.
