India — Wipro has appointed Amarnath Bysani as Global Head for Cybersecurity and Risk Services, strengthening its cybersecurity leadership as enterprises worldwide accelerate investments in cyber resilience, AI security, cloud protection, and digital risk management.
In his new role, Bysani will lead Wipro’s global Cybersecurity and Risk Services practice, overseeing strategy, service innovation, client engagement, and the expansion of cybersecurity, risk, governance, and compliance offerings. He will work with global customers to help strengthen cyber resilience, secure digital transformation initiatives, and address the evolving threat landscape driven by cloud adoption, artificial intelligence, and increasingly connected enterprise environments.
Announcing the appointment in a LinkedIn post, Bysani said, “I am pleased to share that I have joined Wipro as the Global Head for Cybersecurity and Risk Services Practices.” He added that while technology continues to evolve rapidly, trust remains the foundation of every successful transformation, noting that cybersecurity has become a key enabler of innovation as organizations adopt AI, cloud technologies, and connected digital ecosystems.
Bysani brings extensive leadership experience across cybersecurity, enterprise risk management, governance, digital transformation, and technology consulting. Throughout his career, he has advised global enterprises on building secure digital infrastructures, strengthening cyber resilience, managing regulatory compliance, and mitigating business risks across complex technology environments.
Prior to joining Wipro, he served as Partner – Risk Consulting at PwC, where he led cybersecurity, risk management, governance, and digital trust engagements for clients across multiple industries. During his tenure, he worked closely with organizations on cyber strategy, cloud security, technology risk, regulatory compliance, and enterprise transformation programmes.
His appointment comes as enterprises continue to increase investments in cybersecurity services amid rising ransomware attacks, AI-enabled cyber threats, evolving regulatory requirements, and expanding cloud adoption.
