Gurugram, India — Mishcon Global Capability Centre has appointed Amit Jaggi as its Chief Technology Officer, strengthening its technology leadership as the organisation develops its operational and engineering capabilities in India. Jaggi confirmed the appointment through a personal announcement.
In his new role, Jaggi will contribute to building Mishcon GCC’s technology organisation, bringing together engineering talent, innovation and client-focused practices. He said his objective is to help develop the centre as a strategic hub capable of accelerating transformation and creating long-term value for the wider Mishcon de Reya Group.
Announcing the appointment, Jaggi said, “I’m excited to share that I have joined Mishcon GCC as Chief Technology Officer.”
Discussing his priorities, he added, “I am incredibly excited about the opportunity at Mishcon GCC to build something meaningful and bring together great talent, strong engineering practices, innovation, and a client-first focus to create a world-class Global Capability Centre.”
Jaggi joins Mishcon GCC from Sun Life Global Solutions India, where he served as Assistant Vice President and Head of Enterprise Infrastructure. In that position, he worked across enterprise infrastructure and technology operations supporting the company’s India-based global capabilities. His association with the organisation and previous designation are also reflected in publicly available professional and industry references.
He joined Sun Life Global Solutions after working at Macquarie Group. In his earlier appointment announcement, Jaggi confirmed that he had moved from Macquarie to Sun Life to lead enterprise infrastructure. His professional experience covers areas including infrastructure strategy, cloud technologies, network and security operations, data-centre environments and technology transformation.
Jaggi has also participated in industry discussions covering cloud infrastructure, Global Capability Centre development and enterprise technology. During his tenure at Sun Life Global Solutions, he contributed perspectives on the impact of artificial intelligence on data-centre infrastructure, including the power and cooling requirements associated with growing AI workloads.
Reflecting on the changing role of capability centres, Jaggi said that leading GCCs are no longer limited to conventional delivery responsibilities but are increasingly becoming strategic hubs for innovation and transformation. His appointment comes as Mishcon GCC continues to build its team and operational capabilities from Gurugram.
