InstaAstro Raises $12 Million in Series A to Expand Global Presence and AI-Led Products

Gurugram-based digital spiritual wellness platform InstaAstro has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from the company’s founders. The latest investment will support the company’s expansion into regional and international markets and accelerate the development of AI-led products.

The new capital comes more than two years after InstaAstro raised ₹18.5 crore ($2.2 million) in a pre-Series A round led by Artha Venture Fund. Earlier, in November 2021, the company had raised ₹3.2 crore in seed funding.

InstaAstro plans to use the fresh funding to strengthen its presence across regional and international markets, while also investing in artificial intelligence capabilities. The company intends to deploy AI for sentiment analysis and multilingual support, with the aim of enhancing its user consultation experience.

Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro initially started as an astrology consultation application before expanding into a broader digital spiritual wellness platform. Its offerings now include astrology, tarot, numerology, vastu, Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce.

The platform currently has 12 million registered users and more than 5,000 verified experts across 183 countries, according to the company. Its international business, which is driven largely by the Indian diaspora, contributes approximately 25% of its revenue. The company also said its user base has grown by nearly 400% over the past two years.

In terms of financial performance, InstaAstro’s revenue more than doubled to ₹111.26 crore in FY26, compared with ₹52 crore in FY25. The company also claims that its annualised revenue has crossed ₹200 crore, indicating continued growth in its business operations.

Beyond its core consultation business, InstaAstro plans to expand its Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce offerings. Over the longer term, the company aims to develop an integrated platform covering consultation, rituals, discovery and commerce, bringing these services together as part of users’ broader spiritual journeys.

The funding comes as digital platforms in India’s spiritual and astrology segment continue to broaden their offerings beyond traditional consultations. InstaAstro competes with platforms including GaneshaSpeaks, AstroTalk, Click Astro, Astroyogi and Bodhi. AstroTalk recently became a unicorn following an ESOP buyback.

For InstaAstro, the Series A round provides additional capital to pursue both geographical expansion and technology development. The company’s planned use of AI for sentiment analysis and multilingual support is aimed at improving consultations while helping the platform serve users across different markets and languages.

The company’s expansion strategy also reflects its growing international user base. With approximately a quarter of revenue coming from its international business, largely driven by the Indian diaspora, expanding its presence in overseas markets could become an important component of its next phase of growth.
