Shaveta Wadhera Jain Joins BCG Platinion as Managing Director

Gurugram, India — Business and technology transformation leader Shaveta Wadhera Jain has joined BCG Platinion as Managing Director. Her professional profile now reflects the new position, marking her transition from Accenture Consulting to the technology consulting division of Boston Consulting Group.

In the new leadership role, Shaveta is expected to contribute to BCG Platinion’s technology transformation and consulting engagements, helping organisations connect business priorities with technology strategy, architecture and execution. Her experience across industrial and manufacturing organisations is particularly relevant as companies increase their investments in artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, connected operations, enterprise applications and data-led decision-making.

Before joining BCG Platinion, Shaveta served as Managing Director–Consulting at Accenture, where she focused on technology consulting and Industry X initiatives for industrial-sector clients in India. Industry X combines digital technologies with engineering and manufacturing operations to support connected products, intelligent factories and technology-enabled business models.

Earlier, she served as Group Chief Digital Officer at Hero Cycles, where her responsibilities included digital initiatives for the company’s manufacturing ecosystem, domestic supply-chain integration, the implementation of artificial intelligence in manufacturing and technology integration with international cycle manufacturers. The available appointment record identifies the organisation as Hero Cycles—not Hero MotoCorp, as stated in the shared social-media creative.

Shaveta also worked as Chief Information Officer for the GE Transportation–Indian Railways joint venture, managing its information-technology strategy, digital transformation programmes and overall technology stack. Her wider career includes experience with General Electric and Max Life Insurance. She has more than two decades of professional experience across consulting, industrial technology, transportation, manufacturing and financial services.

From a technology perspective, her appointment strengthens BCG Platinion’s leadership capabilities in translating transformation strategies into enterprise-scale implementation. Her background covers technology strategy, digital manufacturing, operating-model transformation, supply-chain integration and the use of emerging technologies to improve business performance.

BCG Platinion is the technology consulting arm of Boston Consulting Group. It combines BCG’s strategic advisory capabilities with expertise in technology architecture and implementation to support complex, large-scale transformations. Its work spans technology strategy, enterprise solutions, cloud, data and AI architecture, cybersecurity, legacy modernisation and digital delivery. The organisation helps clients design and manage custom technology architectures and move transformation programmes from strategy into execution.
