Mumbai, K Raheja Group has elevated Vijayta Nikhil Raheja as its Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. She previously served as the Group’s Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner.
In her expanded leadership role, Raheja will oversee the Group’s strategic direction and growth across its real estate, hospitality, commercial assets and investment interests. Her elevation follows her involvement in strengthening the organisation’s operations and supporting its business expansion.
As COO, Raheja contributed to the Group’s operational strategy, commercial development and organisational growth. She has also represented the company at industry forums, participating in discussions concerning real estate, infrastructure development, tourism and hospitality.
The leadership transition comes as K Raheja Group expands its presence across the real estate and hospitality sectors. Among its recent initiatives is an upcoming hospitality development in Mumbai’s Powai area in partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts. The project comprises a dual-hotel complex and convention facilities intended to serve business, leisure and large-scale event requirements.
Raheja has also been recognised among the real estate sector’s “40 Under 40” professionals. Her experience encompasses business operations, real estate strategy, hospitality development and engagement with industry stakeholders.
As CEO, she will be responsible for building on the Group’s existing portfolio while guiding its next phase of development. The role will include aligning its operating businesses with long-term priorities and identifying growth opportunities across its principal sectors.
K Raheja Group is a Mumbai-based business house and family office with interests in real estate and hospitality. Its origins date to an establishment created by the late Lachmandas Sevaram Raheja and his sons in 1956. The organisation is currently led by third-generation members of the Raheja family.
