
Lenovo has appointed Kiran Balasubramanian as Head of Communications for India, where he will lead the company’s external and internal communications as well as analyst relations. In his new role, Balasubramanian will work closely with Lenovo’s India leadership team to strengthen the company’s communication strategy and engage key stakeholders around its technology strategy, innovation initiatives and business priorities.
Balasubramanian brings experience across technology, consulting and communications, having worked with organisations including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Accenture and Six Degrees PR HK. His professional experience across these sectors has given him exposure to technology businesses, consulting environments and strategic communications.
At Lenovo, his mandate will include managing the company’s communication efforts across both internal and external audiences. He will also oversee analyst relations, helping communicate Lenovo’s technology and business developments to relevant industry stakeholders and analysts.
His responsibilities will involve supporting the India leadership team in communicating Lenovo’s priorities and strengthening engagement with stakeholders across the technology ecosystem. His background across technology and communications provides a combination of industry understanding and strategic communication experience for the role.
Balasubramanian’s experience at AWS adds exposure to the cloud and technology ecosystem, while his time at Accenture brings consulting and business experience. His association with Six Degrees PR HK further adds communications and public relations expertise to his professional background.
The appointment comes as Lenovo continues to build its presence across India’s technology market, with communication playing an important role in articulating its technology strategy, innovation efforts and business direction.
