
Vivek Sapre has joined Fibe, formerly known as EarlySalary, as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), taking on a senior leadership role to further strengthen and develop the fintech company’s people function.
Sapre brings experience across human resources, people strategy, organisational development and talent management, with a career spanning financial services, fintech, education and professional services.
Before joining Fibe, Sapre served as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Veranda Learning Solutions. During his tenure, he led the group-level people function and worked with the organisation’s leadership on its human resources agenda.
Sapre’s professional experience also includes senior HR roles at NeoGrowth Credit, L&T Finance and EY. His career has covered areas including HR leadership, talent management, employee engagement, organisational development and people strategy across financial services and other business sectors.
At NeoGrowth, Sapre was associated with the company’s human resources function, gaining experience in the financial-services and lending sector. His earlier career at L&T Finance also gave him exposure to HR operations within a large financial-services organisation.
Sapre has additionally worked with EY, where he built experience in the professional-services environment before moving into senior HR leadership positions across financial services and other sectors.
An MBA graduate from XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Sapre has built his career around people leadership and organisational transformation. His professional profile describes his experience across fintech, edtech and NBFC businesses.
Announcing his move, Sapre said he was pleased to join Fibe as CHRO and would work on further shaping and enhancing the company’s people practices. He also acknowledged Fibe’s leadership, including co-founder and CEO Akshay Mehrotra and co-founder Ashish Goyal, and highlighted the collaborative culture he had experienced since joining the organisation.
With the move to Fibe, Sapre concludes his tenure as Group CHRO at Veranda Learning. He expressed his appreciation to Veranda Learning founder Suresh Kalpathi and the organisation’s leadership team and colleagues for the opportunity and support during his tenure.
Fibe, formerly EarlySalary, operates as a digital lending and financial-services platform. Sapre’s appointment adds an experienced HR leader to its leadership team as the company continues to build its people function.
