Swarna Latha has taken up a new role as Senior Vice President, People & Culture at Skyroot Aerospace, according to her LinkedIn announcement. The role is based in Hyderabad and began in September 2026.
It is a step up within the company. She joined Skyroot in February 2025 as Vice President, People & Culture, and held that position until August 2026 before moving into the SVP role.
Before Skyroot, she spent over four years at ALPLA Group. She joined in December 2020 as Regional HR Manager for the India region, with a focus on compensation and benefits and organisation effectiveness. From January 2023 to February 2025, she was Senior Regional HR Manager, India. Her profile lists organisational design and team leadership among her skills from that stint.
Earlier in her career, she was Manager, HR & Admin at Glochem Industries in Hyderabad from 2016 to 2020, working on training and development and team leadership. Before that, she was Manager HR at Fluentgrid Limited in Visakhapatnam in 2016, and Assistant Manager, HR & Admin at Atria Convergence Technologies from 2015 to 2016.
Her move from a regional HR role at a global packaging group to a leadership position at an aerospace company reflects the growing weight of people strategy in deep-tech firms, where hiring and retaining specialist talent is central to growth. The company hasn’t shared details of her mandate in the expanded role.
