Adani Wilmar, an FMCG company in India, has appointed Jignesh Shah as Head of Media and Digital Marketing. With over two decades of experience, including a decade-long tenure at Adani Wilmar, Shah brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
As the newly appointed head, Shah will oversee strategic promotion for the company’s flagship brand, ‘Fortune,’ as well as other brands within the Oil & Food portfolios. Additionally, he will continue to serve as Business Head for the foods consumer pack, managing categories such as soya nuggets, sugar, pulses, and poha.
In his role as brand custodian for Fortune, Shah will ensure its continued relevance and resonance in the ever-evolving FMCG landscape, drawing upon his strategic insights and expertise.
With an MBA in marketing, Shah began his marketing career at Vadilal as a product & brand manager, later gaining experience at Alembic Glass Industries and Wagh Bakri. He joined Adani Wilmar in 2014 as an associate manager and has since played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s food portfolio, particularly under the Fortune brand. His marketing initiatives have been instrumental in launching and growing various product categories, including soya nuggets, besan, sugar, poha, pulses, sattu, and the introduction of rawa, suji, and maida.
Shah’s appointment comes at a strategic juncture for Adani Wilmar, aligning with the company’s ambitions to expand its reach and strengthen its position in the FMCG sector. With his proven track record and visionary leadership, Shah is poised to lead the company’s marketing efforts to new heights of success.
