Ambit Private Limited has announced the appointment of Prateek Mishra as its new Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In his new role, Mishra will oversee regulatory compliance with SEBI and RBI frameworks while enhancing the organization’s cybersecurity posture across Ambit Private Limited and its diverse businesses, including investment banking, institutional equities, lending, wealth management, and its NBFC arm. His leadership will play a pivotal role in strengthening Ambit’s overall cyber resilience and safeguarding client trust.
Mishra brings with him extensive experience in the financial services sector, having successfully anchored enterprise-wide cyber strategies and compliance initiatives throughout his career. Most recently, he served as Group CISO at Avendus, where he was responsible for driving robust cybersecurity frameworks and risk management practices. His previous roles include serving as CISO at HDFC Credila Financial Services Limited and at 360 ONE Wealth (formerly IIFL Wealth), where he implemented security policies and governance models aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.
His appointment comes at a significant time for Ambit, which has been expanding its global footprint and strengthening its business offerings. The company recently acquired Moonrock Investments, a DFSA-regulated wealth management firm based in Dubai’s DIFC, bolstering its international presence. Ambit’s wealth management arm, Ambit Global Private Client (Ambit GPC), currently manages over USD 9 billion in assets and serves more than 1,000 ultra-high-net-worth clients worldwide. Its NBFC business continues to grow, offering structured lending and credit solutions to a broad base of clients across India.
