India — BUSINESSNEXT has appointed Amit Bhatia as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) & Head of Technology Operations, strengthening its technology and cybersecurity leadership as the company continues to expand its AI-powered enterprise platforms for the global banking and financial services industry.
In his new role, Bhatia will lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy, technology operations, cloud infrastructure, IT governance, and enterprise technology initiatives. He will also oversee information security, cyber resilience, technology modernization, and operational excellence to support BUSINESSNEXT’s AI-driven digital transformation platform and its growing global customer base.
Bhatia brings more than 26 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, enterprise technology, cloud transformation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, IT operations, and information security. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale technology modernization initiatives, strengthened cybersecurity frameworks, and implemented enterprise IT strategies across the financial services and technology sectors.
Prior to joining BUSINESSNEXT, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at Religare Broking Ltd., where he led the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance, and information security operations. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President – IT & Data Protection Officer (DPO) at RateGain, overseeing global IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud transformation, and data privacy initiatives. He also held leadership roles as Associate Vice President – IT Global Operations at Innodata Inc., Associate – Infrastructure Solutions at Dell Technologies, and System Administrator at PepsiCo, building deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, digital governance, and technology operations.
