
India — Propix Technologies has appointed Anirudha Katekar as Senior Vice President – Global Business Development, strengthening the company’s global commercial leadership as it continues expanding its presence across industrial automation, track-and-trace systems, machine vision, and intelligent manufacturing solutions.
In his new role, Katekar will lead global business development initiatives focused on strategic market expansion, enterprise partnerships, customer growth, and international business opportunities across key regions and industries. His appointment comes as demand accelerates globally for automation-driven compliance systems, industrial traceability, smart manufacturing technologies, and AI-enabled inspection platforms.
Katekar brings extensive experience in enterprise sales, industrial automation, machine vision systems, track-and-trace technologies, life sciences, packaging inspection, and global account management accumulated over a long career spanning several international technology and industrial solutions organizations.
Prior to joining Propix Technologies, he served at OPTEL Group in multiple leadership capacities, including VP SALES – APAC & GLOBAL ACCOUNTS and VP Sales – APAC, India, MEA & Global Accounts, where he led business growth and customer expansion initiatives across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and global enterprise accounts.
Earlier in his career, Katekar held senior leadership positions across multiple technology and industrial automation companies. These included SR V.P. Business Development – Strategic Accounts at Jekson Vision, Vice President Sales (Lifesciences, CPG & ENR) – India and Director Sales – India at OPTEL Group, and General Manager – Sales for Track & Trace, Vision Inspection Machines & Solutions, and Software at Antares Vision Group.
He also held business development and sales leadership roles at IMA Hassia India, Bizerba India, Optel Vision, Mettler-Toledo International, Baumer Group, and several other industrial technology companies, building deep expertise across industrial inspection systems, software-driven automation, enterprise compliance solutions, and intelligent manufacturing technologies.
Industry observers note that sectors including pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, food processing, healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing are increasingly investing in advanced track-and-trace systems, machine vision platforms, robotics, and AI-powered inspection technologies to improve compliance, operational efficiency, product quality, and supply chain visibility.
