Attentive.ai, the company behind the widely adopted Beam AI platform, has secured a $30.5 million Series B funding round led by Insight Partners, with additional participation from Vertex Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, and InfoEdge Venture Fund. This new capital infusion brings the startup’s total funding to $48 million. According to CEO Shiva Dhawan, the investment will help the company “accelerate AI model development and build the foundation that will power the next decade of growth in construction.”
The news comes at a time when preconstruction teams across the United States are strained by increasing workloads tied to major infrastructure and data center expansions. Despite the scale of these projects, many estimators still depend on outdated manual takeoffs and spreadsheet-heavy workflows. Attentive.ai aims to change this with Beam AI, its automated takeoff platform designed to eliminate repetitive tasks and allow estimators to focus more strategically on bidding and project planning.
Beam AI has already gained significant traction in the construction ecosystem, serving more than 1,100 companies. The platform offers fully automated takeoffs supported by human-in-the-loop verification, ensuring both precision and speed. By reducing time spent on manual quantity extraction and data entry, Beam AI helps teams increase bid volume, strengthen competitive positioning, and reduce operational bottlenecks.
