Axis Trustee Services Limited has strengthened its leadership team by appointing Sudipto Nag as a Director, bringing on board a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in credit, risk management, and portfolio strategy. In addition to joining the Board of Axis Trustee Services, Nag continues to serve as the Group Head and Chief Credit Officer at Axis Bank, where he is responsible for overseeing the bank’s overall credit strategy, risk assessment, and lending policies. In this role, he plays a key part in maintaining the quality of the bank’s credit portfolio while supporting sustainable business growth. Before assuming his current position, he headed the Credit and Retail Portfolio Management Group at Axis Bank, managing retail credit operations and portfolio performance.
Nag has built a distinguished career spanning more than two decades in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Axis Bank, he spent over 15 years at ICICI Bank, where he held several senior leadership positions across retail banking and credit management. During his tenure, he led teams responsible for credit policy, debt service management, business banking, and retail lending, contributing to the development of effective risk management practices and operational efficiency.
Earlier in his professional journey, Nag worked with Nestlé, gaining valuable experience in marketing and sales. This early exposure to business operations provided him with a broader commercial perspective that has complemented his leadership roles in the banking sector.
With his diverse experience across banking, finance, and corporate leadership, Sudipto Nag is expected to make a significant contribution to Axis Trustee Services.
