ConveGenius, an AI-first edtech startup, raises Rs 15Cr led by Searce Inc.

ConveGenius, a leading AI-centric edtech startup, has announced a strategic collaboration with Searce Inc., backed by a funding infusion of Rs 15 crore.

This announcement follows closely on the heels of ConveGenius securing $7 million in a growth financing round just a month prior. This funding round, spearheaded by UBS Optimus Foundation and Mount Judi Ventures, also saw participation from existing investors such as the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF), BAce Capital, Heritas Capital, and Gray Matters Capital.

According to the company’s statement, the newfound partnership aims to bolster ConveGenius’s cloud services while expediting the development of its generative AI capabilities. Established in 2013 by Jairaj Bhattacharya and Shashank Pandey, ConveGenius operates through three key verticals: SwiftChat – a conversational AI bot store; Swift School – a personalized adaptive learning platform tailored for educational institutions; and Swift Insights – a comprehensive assessments and data intelligence platform.

The startup underscores that the collaboration with Searce, a specialized modern tech consulting firm renowned for its focus on Data, AI, and Cloud-led transformation, represents a strategic maneuver to augment its technological prowess and further enhance SwiftChat, its flagship conversational AI platform.

Furthermore, the partnership is anticipated to fuel the development of scalable, cloud-based educational tools, particularly targeting regions with restricted access to quality education, thereby aligning with ConveGenius’s mission to democratize learning opportunities.Jairaj Bhattacharya, Co-founder & Managing Director of ConveGenius, said, “Building on our recent $7 million funding success, this strategic partnership with Searce Inc. is a significant milestone. It reinforces our investors’ trust in our vision and accelerates our journey towards revolutionizing education through advanced technology.”

Searce CEO, Hardik Parekh, said, “We believe in pushing the boundaries of tech innovation and designing end-to-end solutions to help futurify organizations.”

Parekh continues, “Our investment goes beyond the financial backing; it’s about creating a partnership that leverages our technical depth and expertise to advance ConveGenius’s innovative AI educational solution, SwiftChat.AI. ConveGenius has already impacted 140+ million students in India, and we’ll reach millions more together.” He added, “We want to make education scalable, smarter, and more useful with AI. Let’s futurify education for the world.”

Searce, which has made similar strategic investments in solutions such as happierWork, invoize, and Recognic, said it will continue to invest in AI to broaden its IP-led solutions offerings.
