Dimple Kaloya Appointed Chief Human Resources Officer at MetLife

MetLife has appointed Dimple Kaloya as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), adding an experienced human resources leader to its leadership team. In her new role, Kaloya will lead the company’s human resources function, with a focus on people strategy, talent management and organisational development.

Kaloya brings experience across several areas of human resources, including HR strategy, talent management, organisational development, employee engagement, leadership development and HR business partnering. Her career has involved working with global organisations and supporting people strategies aligned with broader business priorities.

Before joining MetLife, Kaloya held leadership roles at HSBC, EY and Aon, building experience across different areas of HR and people management. Her professional background includes work related to HR transformation, organisational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, leadership development and people operations.

Her experience across these organisations has provided exposure to both strategic and operational aspects of human resources. This includes developing talent strategies, supporting organisational change, strengthening employee engagement and working with business leaders on people-related priorities.

At MetLife, Kaloya’s mandate will include strengthening the organisation’s talent and leadership capabilities, enhancing employee experience and supporting organisational development initiatives. She will also work on aligning the company’s people strategy with its wider business and growth objectives.

The appointment places Kaloya in a role that brings together several areas of her professional experience, including HR transformation, leadership development, talent management and business partnering. Her background across HSBC, EY and Aon adds experience from multiple global business environments to her new position at MetLife.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Kaloya will be responsible for leading the human resources function while contributing to the company’s broader people agenda.
