Entire Appoints Former GitHub APAC Field CTO Karthik Rameshkumar as Field CTO for India Expansion

India — Entire, the AI-native developer platform founded by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, has appointed Karthik Rameshkumar as Field CTO, marking the company’s first formal leadership appointment focused on India as it accelerates expansion across one of the world’s fastest-growing developer ecosystems.

The appointment reflects Entire’s growing focus on India, which is home to more than 27 million GitHub developers and is projected to become GitHub’s largest developer community by 2030.

Rameshkumar joins Entire from GitHub, where he served as Field CTO for the Asia Pacific region, working closely with enterprises, developers, and engineering organizations on platform adoption, developer productivity, and AI-powered software development initiatives. Prior to GitHub, he played a key role in establishing Twilio’s global support delivery centre in Bengaluru.

At Entire, he will help drive developer adoption, enterprise engagement, technical strategy, and AI-native software engineering initiatives as the company builds infrastructure designed for increasingly autonomous and AI-assisted software development environments.

Commenting on the evolution of AI-driven software development, Rameshkumar said, “With agents being treated as equal citizens in the software teams, infrastructure has to be built with agents at the center of the experience.”

Entire emerged from stealth mode in February 2026 after raising a $60 million seed funding round at a reported valuation of $300 million. Since launch, the company has nearly tripled its workforce to around 40 employees as it expands its engineering and product capabilities.

The company is focused on building AI-native developer infrastructure aimed at helping software teams manage collaboration between human developers and AI coding agents. Its open-source command-line interface tool, Checkpoints, has gained significant traction within the developer community, attracting more than 4,600 GitHub stars within five months of launch.

Checkpoints is designed to improve transparency and traceability in AI-assisted software development by recording prompts, reasoning processes, and contextual decision-making associated with AI-generated code commits alongside the code itself.

The appointment comes amid rapidly increasing global investment in AI-powered developer tools, autonomous coding systems, agentic AI workflows, and software engineering automation as enterprises seek to improve developer productivity, accelerate release cycles, and modernize engineering operations.

Entire is an AI-native developer platform founded by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, focused on building infrastructure and tooling for AI-assisted software development. The company develops platforms and open-source tools designed to help developers and AI agents collaborate more effectively across coding, automation, reasoning, and software delivery workflows.
