Google Launches Veo 3 AI Video Generator in India via Gemini App

Google has officially rolled out its Veo 3 AI video generation model in India, making it accessible through the Gemini app and web platform. This expansion extends Veo 3’s availability to all regions where the Gemini app is offered, including countries that were previously excluded, such as India, the UK, and those within the European Union.
Originally introduced at Google I/O in May 2025, Veo 3 is Google’s most advanced video generation model to date. It was initially launched in select regions including Australia, Japan, and Malaysia. With its arrival in India, users can now create AI-generated videos, provided they are subscribed to the Google AI Pro plan.
The AI Pro subscription, which is now required to access Veo 3, is priced at ₹1,950 per month and includes a one-month free trial. Previously offered under the Google One AI Premium plan, it has since been rebranded to better align with Google’s evolving suite of AI products. Subscribers receive access not only to Veo 3 but also to other premium tools, including the AI-assisted filmmaking app Flow, NotebookLM Plus, Gemini integrations within Google Workspace apps, and 2TB of cloud storage across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos.
There is, however, a usage limit. Google has stated that users can generate up to ten videos using Veo 3. “Currently, there are no options for additional credits or resets,” the company clarified.
Veo 3 introduces several notable improvements over its predecessor, Veo 2. These include enhanced visual quality, improved motion tracking, better character consistency, and the addition of native audio generation. The model supports the creation of ambient sound environments and voice-like audio, contributing to a more immersive viewing experience. Each video clip can be rendered up to eight seconds in length.
Looking ahead, Google is exploring further integrations for Veo 3 across platforms like YouTube Shorts and Canva. These enhancements would allow content creators to generate AI-powered video clips directly within those services, streamlining the creative process.
