H Rajendra Kamath has been named the new Vice President of Engineering at TP, stepping into a leadership role to drive the company’s global engineering initiatives for its strategic AI orchestration platform within the FAB portfolio. Based in Bengaluru, he will be responsible for steering the development of scalable Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities, working closely with senior executives worldwide to advance technology-enabled business transformation and cultivate a high-performance, agile R&D culture.

With nearly 25 years of cross-functional experience in technology leadership, Kamath brings a deep bench of expertise in modern engineering practices, cloud transformation, and enterprise-grade infrastructure. Prior to joining TP, he spent almost four years at Amadeus, where he served as Director and Business Unit Site Leader. In that capacity, he led a global R&D team of more than 200 professionals across DevOps, software product and platform engineering, and cloud site reliability engineering — including overseeing key data center-to-public cloud migrations.
Before Amadeus, Kamath held the role of Head of Engineering and India Site Leader at Honeywell for five years, where he played a central role in expanding and scaling the Honeywell Forge Cloud & AI connectivity platform. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade at IBM India Software Labs, where he rose to Senior Manager for the Watson Data Platform and was instrumental in building IBM’s first Kubernetes-based big data SaaS platform.
Kamath’s foundational engineering experience also includes pivotal roles at NETSCOUT, Samsung SDS, and Wipro. He is widely regarded as an authority in enterprise modernization, particularly in areas such as private-to-public cloud migrations, automated FinOps governance, and resilient infrastructure architectures that support mission-critical digital operations.
