HDFC securities appoints Surajit Deb as Chief Technology Officer

HDFC Securities, a leading investment services provider, has appointed Mr. Surajit Deb as its Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Mr. Deb will oversee Information Technology, Engineering, and related Operations, reinforcing HDFC Securities’ dedication to driving innovation and improving digital experiences for its clientele.

With over two decades of experience in technology and digital innovation, Mr. Deb is recognized for his ability to lead technology and organizational transformations that enhance customer engagement, operational efficiency, and IT resilience. His expertise spans fintech innovations, digital transformations, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure optimization. His appointment as CTO is poised to propel HDFC Securities toward its goal of leveraging cutting-edge technology to offer secure, user-friendly, and sophisticated investment and trading solutions.

Prior to joining HDFC Securities, Mr. Deb held positions at IDFC First Bank, Salesforce.com, and IBM. He holds a PG Certificate Program in Management from IIM Kozhikode and a Bachelor of Technology in Radiophysics & Electronics from Calcutta University.
