Hind Rectifiers Ltd (Hirect) has announced the appointment of Manoj Nair as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), marking a major milestone in the company’s transformation journey. With over three decades of leadership experience across manufacturing, power, and infrastructure, Nair is set to steer Hirect toward accelerated innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

His appointment underscores Hirect’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and driving its strategic vision of becoming a global leader in power electronics and rectifier technologies. Known for his dynamic leadership and cross-functional expertise, Mr. Nair brings a strong focus on business transformation, strategic execution, and organizational development to his new role.

Before joining Hirect, Mr. Nair served as Chief Executive Officer at IIMS Limited (CK Birla Group), where he led key initiatives that enhanced business scalability, streamlined processes, and fostered organizational excellence. His tenure at IIMS was marked by the successful execution of operational reforms and a strong emphasis on performance-driven culture.

Prior to that, he spent several years with Cummins India, where he held pivotal leadership roles including Vice President – Power Generation Business and Director – Industrial Business. At Cummins, he oversaw critical verticals such as rail, marine, mining, oil & gas, and defense, contributing significantly to the company’s market expansion and profitability.

An alumnus of SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mr. Nair is widely recognized for his multi-domain expertise spanning strategic planning, business development, program management, sales, and operations. His proven ability to drive large-scale transformation and lead diverse teams positions him well to guide Hirect through its next phase of growth.

Mr. Nair’s appointment reflects Hirect’s focus on innovation, governance, and value creation, as the company continues to evolve as a trusted partner in the power electronics industry.
