Home Centre India Appoints Jayanti Ganguly as CEO to Drive Next Phase of Growth
Home Centre India has named Jayanti Ganguly as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership move aimed at accelerating growth and strengthening the brand’s position in the home retail segment. With over two decades of experience in retail, fashion, and lifestyle, Jayanti brings a proven track record of scaling businesses, launching consumer-first initiatives, and building robust omnichannel retail strategies. Her appointment is expected to fuel innovation and expand Home Centre India’s market presence in the fast-evolving home retail space.

Prior to joining Home Centre India, Jayanti served as Vice President at Myntra, where she spearheaded the Apparel & Footwear businesses along with the International Brands, Marketplace, and Omni-channel portfolio. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in accelerating category growth, strengthening global partnerships, and deepening consumer engagement — efforts that further cemented Myntra’s leadership in India’s fashion e-commerce space.

Her career journey reflects extensive leadership experience across some of the country’s most prominent retail and fashion brands. Before Myntra, Jayanti was associated with Flipkart as Business Head – Fashion & General Merchandise (B2B), where she focused on category expansion and driving business profitability. She has also held leadership positions at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., where she was instrumental in driving marquee brands such as Louis Philippe and Van Heusen, and at Nike India, where she led retail and merchandising strategy.

Jayanti began her career with Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, gaining deep exposure to merchandising, retail operations, and category management — experiences that helped shape her holistic approach to business building.

“With her strong expertise in scaling businesses, launching consumer-first initiatives, and building omnichannel retail experiences, Jayanti’s leadership at Home Centre India is expected to drive innovation and strengthen the brand’s market position in the home retailing space.”

Home Centre India’s decision to bring Jayanti onboard underscores its focus on creating a differentiated, consumer-first home retail experience while driving growth in a competitive and rapidly evolving market.
