InCred Finance Appoints Mrinmoy Dey as Chief Information Security Officer

InCred Finance has appointed cybersecurity leader Mrinmoy Dey as its Chief Information Security Officer. In his new role, Dey will lead the company’s information-security strategy and strengthen the protection of its technology platforms, financial data and digital operations.

Dey brings more than 21 years of experience across information security, technology governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, audit and assurance. His expertise also covers third-party risk management, cloud-risk assessment and stakeholder management.

Before joining InCred Finance, Dey served as Chief Information Security Officer at digital-lending company Lendingkart. In that position, he led security strategy and operations focused on protecting the company’s fintech ecosystem and supporting its risk-management requirements.

He has worked across the fintech, banking and financial-services, oil and gas, information technology and IT-enabled services sectors. His professional experience includes assignments involving domestic and international clients.

Dey has expertise in implementing and auditing Sarbanes-Oxley and information-technology general controls. He has also worked with security and compliance frameworks such as SSAE 18, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and ISO 27001.

In his new position, Dey is expected to oversee cybersecurity governance, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, security operations and the implementation of controls across InCred Finance’s digital and technology infrastructure.

“My analytical and problem solving skills are dedicated to maintaining high quality standards, and planning and managing projects from inception to completion. I look forward to contributing to the company’s cybersecurity posture,” Dey said.

InCred Finance is a non-banking financial company providing retail and business-lending products through technology-supported processes. Its offerings include personal, education and small-business loans. The company uses digital systems across customer onboarding, credit assessment, loan servicing and risk management.
