Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading Indian technology firm, has forged a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon, to expedite the cloud transformation of its customers on a large scale.

Under this new strategic transformation pact with AWS, TCS aims to facilitate its customers’ comprehensive digital transformation by leveraging data and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions generated on AWS.

Through this multi-year collaboration, TCS will equip its customers with tools to build modern architectures, unlock business value using cutting-edge cloud-native capabilities, and drive modernization on a large scale. These tools encompass a clear roadmap for cloud modernization, access to modernization platforms and tools, specialized investment models and technology betas, as well as proof-of-concept (POC) projects.

The initiative targets a broad spectrum of industries, including banking and financial services, life sciences, healthcare, travel, transportation, hospitality, manufacturing, automotive, communications, and telecom.

Matt Garman, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Global Services at AWS, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the benefits of AWS’s suite of generative AI and modernization services combined with TCS’s domain expertise and global delivery capabilities to accelerate enterprise transformation.

AWS is also committed to upskilling 25,000 TCS professionals to strengthen the partnership, with a specific focus on modernization needs.
