
Pune, Maharashtra: Kalpa Power, one of India’s leading energy management companies, today announced the appointment of Jabraj Singh as Chief Operating Officer (COO) as part of a broader leadership strengthening initiative to support the company’s expansion into integrated energy infrastructure, including Open Access, transmission infrastructure, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and lifecycle asset management.
In his new role, Singh will lead Kalpa Power’s operational functions with a focus on project execution, delivery excellence, operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. As part of the leadership transition, Kamlesh Kataria, currently COO, will take on the role of Chief Growth Officer (CGO), where he will drive strategic growth initiatives, partnerships, and new business opportunities.
Jabraj Singh brings over two decades of experience delivering large-scale power and renewable energy projects across India, the Middle East and Africa, with leadership roles at KEC International, L&T and Tata Projects. He has a strong track record of scaling businesses, building high-performing teams and delivering complex projects, including growing KEC International’s North India business from approximately ₹1,400 crore to ₹2,500 crore in revenue in two years.
As Chief Growth Officer, Kamlesh Kataria will focus on identifying, incubating, and scaling growth opportunities that strengthen Kalpa Power’s long-term market position. He will lead the company’s efforts to build new growth engines, deepen customer partnerships, and advance strategic initiatives for future expansion.
