Mumbai, India — Lalit Trivedi has been appointed Head of Information Security (Global) at FlexM, a Singapore-headquartered fintech firm, effective October 2023. FlexM, known for its FinTech-as-a-Service (FaaS) platform, delivers digital banking and payments capabilities to clients across multiple countries.
Bringing over two decades of experience in IT and cybersecurity leadership, Trivedi previously served as Head of IT and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ITI Mutual Fund from September 2020 to July 2023. In that role, he managed uptime, IT infrastructure development, budgeting, marketing analytics, process automation, data integrations, and cybersecurity audits, among other responsibilities.
Prior to his tenure at ITI Mutual Fund, Trivedi held leadership roles such as Group Head IT (CTO, CISO) at AdvanceOne Uganda (Madhvani Group) from July 2016 to March 2020, and Lead Implementation Data Analytics (Head of Asset Management) at Pragmatix Services between May 2015 and May 2016. His earlier career includes roles as Head of IT & CISO at DBS Chola Mandalam Asset Management, Manager IT at ICICI Prudential AMC, and consultancy work as a virtual CTO/CISO.
Trivedi holds a B.Tech in Information Technology (with distinction) from Kanpur University and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Chaudhary Charan Singh University. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), along with certifications in BI/DW, database administration, GNIIT, and IT project management.
