Bengaluru and New York-based Lyzr AI has secured $8 million in fresh funding, led by Rocketship.vc, with participation from Accenture Ventures, GFT Ventures, Firstsource, Plug and Play Tech Center, BGV, Arka Venture Labs, and PFNYC. The latest funding round will fuel the company’s expansion as it strengthens its platform, doubles its team size, and builds deeper partnerships within the BFSI sector.
Co-founder Anirudh Narayan told AIM, “We were looking to raise $15 million at a $75 million valuation, but we didn’t want to dilute 25%. So, we decided to raise $8 million instead, which gives us enough runway to get to $12 million in revenue and prepare for a much larger Series B.” This calculated funding approach underscores Lyzr’s strategic focus on sustainable growth and long-term scalability.
Founded in August 2023 by Siva Surendira, Anirudh Narayan, and Jithin George, Lyzr has quickly evolved from a data analytics assistant into a comprehensive agent infrastructure platform enabling enterprises to build private, secure, and customizable AI agents. “We realised companies need their own private Perplexity or ChatGPT,” Narayan said, emphasizing the growing demand for enterprise-grade generative AI systems tailored to organizational needs.
Lyzr’s flagship product, Agent Studio, allows both developers and non-technical users to build dependable AI agents that integrate seamlessly into enterprise workflows. The platform is already being adopted by major global enterprises such as Accenture, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Hitachi Energy, Persistent Systems, Publicis, Firstsource, and HFS Research to automate complex operations in banking, insurance, and compliance.
A major milestone for the startup has been its partnership with Accenture, which serves as both an investor and customer. “Accenture actually has six or seven use cases with us,” Narayan shared. “Their most popular one is the corporate venture capital platform, where they use Lyzr agents to identify and evaluate startups for investment.”
With growing traction across the BFSI landscape, expanding collaborations with AWS and NVIDIA, and an upcoming no-code agent builder, Lyzr is positioning itself as a “full-stack agent company” driving the next wave of enterprise automation. The company’s vision—to empower organizations with private, scalable AI ecosystems—marks a significant step toward redefining how businesses leverage intelligent agents for operational efficiency and strategic advantage.
