Madhya Pradesh Unveils GCC Policy 2025, Paving the Way for a Digital Future

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced the launch of the Madhya Pradesh Global Capability Center (GCC) Policy 2025, marking a significant move to attract multinational corporations and establish the state as a premier digital and technology hub.

This initiative is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and Digital India. The Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal will serve as the international stage to present this policy, with Prime Minister Modi set to inaugurate the summit on February 24. At the event, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will showcase the policy to global investors, industrialists, and policymakers, aiming to drive substantial investments into the GCC sector and transform the state’s economic landscape.

Global Capability Centers (GCCs) are strategic units established by multinational corporations outside their headquarters to streamline global operations through advanced technologies. These centers specialize in software development, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analytics, financial services, R&D, supply chain management, and customer support.

India currently stands as the world’s largest GCC hub, hosting over 1,600 operational centers. With this new policy, Madhya Pradesh is set to emerge as a key player in sectors such as IT, finance, engineering, and business process outsourcing (BPO), fostering rapid industrial growth. Under CM Dr. Yadav’s leadership, the state has become one of India’s fastest-growing investment destinations, thanks to significant improvements in ease of doing business, IT infrastructure development, and proactive investor engagement. To effectively implement the GCC policy, the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (MPSeDC) has been named the nodal agency, ensuring seamless investor support.

Additionally, a Policy Implementation Unit (PIU) is being established to expedite GCC projects. This unit will oversee incentives, project approvals, and compliance, ensuring swift execution and a hassle-free investment process.

Madhya Pradesh offers an ideal ecosystem for GCCs, with its IT/ITES exports tripling in the past three years and an annual growth rate of 43%. Cities like Indore, Bhopal, and Jabalpur are rapidly evolving into technology and ESDM (Electronics System Design & Manufacturing) hubs. The state boasts over 300 engineering colleges, producing more than 50,000 tech graduates annually. For investors, Madhya Pradesh provides:

  • Cost-effective business operations
  • State-of-the-art technology parks & SEZs
  • Streamlined regulatory processes
  • 4th rank in Ease of Doing Business in India

The Madhya Pradesh GCC Policy 2025 is a game-changing initiative that will contribute significantly to India’s goal of reaching a $110 billion GCC market by 2030. With a focus on innovation, infrastructure, and investor incentives, the policy is set to position the state as a global hub for GCC operations.

The upcoming Global Investors Summit 2025 promises to be a historic event, drawing international investments and solidifying Madhya Pradesh’s status as a digital powerhouse. With Prime Minister Modi’s presence adding further significance, this policy is poised to usher in a new era of innovation, technology, and job creation, accelerating economic growth and expanding global job opportunities for the youth.
