Adani Group, the recent acquirer of Ambuja Cements, has announced the appointment of Manoj Kumar Sharma as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. His assumption of the role took effect in November.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Ambuja Cements Limited,” Sharma posted on Linkedin.
In his new capacity, Sharma will be responsible for managing succession planning, HR transformation, leadership development, HR strategy, executive coaching, and talent management.
Bringing his expertise in succession planning, HR transformation, leadership, HR strategy, executive coaching, strategic human resources leadership, and talent management, Sharma has transitioned to Ambuja Cements from Adani Electricity. His prior experience includes serving as the Senior Executive Vice President of HR at Adani Electricity and working across various verticals of the Adani Group, such as Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, and Adani Infra India.
He was also associated with A&M Resources, Ispat Industries, Flex Industries, and Aditya Birla Group.
