Natasha Malpani Launches Rs 200 Crore Fund ‘Boundless Ventures’ to Back AI-First Startups in India

In a significant boost to India’s growing AI startup ecosystem, Natasha Malpani, former partner at Kae Capital, has unveiled Boundless Ventures, a new early-stage investment firm with a Rs 200 crore corpus. The fund aims to support AI-native startups across diverse sectors by writing pre-seed and seed cheques, making it one of the few India-focused vehicles dedicated solely to artificial intelligence innovation.

Boundless Ventures is already off the mark with six early investments, including SuperHealth (a healthcare platform), Armatrix (robotics), Piersight (spacetech), and Knot (a 60-minute fashion delivery startup). The firm has also backed two stealth ventures in AI infrastructure and consumer AI, further showcasing its commitment to foundational and application-layer AI innovation.

The fund’s investment thesis spans the full AI spectrum—from consumer applications and agent tooling to vertical use cases in logistics and healthcare, and even Make-in-India AI hardware. What sets Boundless apart, according to Malpani, is its founder-first approach rooted in trust, agility, and operational support.

“We’re at an inflection point where AI is moving from experiments to infrastructure. The next decade will be shaped by teams that convert raw AI capability into lasting platforms,” said Malpani. “Boundless is designed to back those founders early—before the world catches on.”

Malpani has raised capital for the fund through her personal network of friends and family, emphasizing the independent and founder-led nature of the venture. More than just capital, Boundless promises to assist startups with storytelling, market access, and network building, drawing on Malpani’s diverse background as a founder and investor. She previously founded Boundless Media, led Dice Media’s growth, and was a key player in India’s early-stage VC ecosystem at Kae Capital.

Her move comes at a time when India’s generative AI space is witnessing rapid acceleration. In the first seven months of 2025 alone, AI startups in India raised $524 million—the highest in the past five years.

Boundless Ventures aims to be at the forefront of this AI wave, backing bold, technically-grounded, and culturally-aware founders shaping the future.
