These operations include critical functions such as newsroom editing and production, stock data management, asset management, and archiving.
This move not only enhances NDTV Profit’s existing infrastructure but also positions the channel to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) for video analysis, content moderation, and viewer analytics. Additionally, AI will enable the channel to quickly summarize detailed reports and transcribe audio with greater accuracy, boosting productivity and establishing NDTV Profit as a first-mover in delivering news more efficiently in a competitive landscape.
Nutanix’s technology simplifies the use of multiple cloud environments for NDTV Profit. Once the news content is created on-premises using the private cloud, Nutanix facilitates the transfer of this content to NDTV Profit’s public cloud on AWS, allowing for seamless digital distribution to its viewers.
In addition to improving its news production capabilities, NDTV Profit has significantly reduced operational costs. By transitioning from VMware by Broadcom to the Nutanix AHV hypervisor, the company has cut software license expenses and enhanced datacenter efficiency, leading to lower energy consumption and fewer management hours required from its IT team.
