Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced the appointment of Neeraj Naidu as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With over 20 years of experience in information security and IT infrastructure, Naidu is set to lead the bank’s cybersecurity strategies and risk management framework.
Before joining Kotak Mahindra Bank, Naidu served as CISO at IDFC FIRST Bank, where he played a crucial role in strengthening cybersecurity frameworks and aligning security protocols with business objectives. His previous experience includes key positions such as Vice President & Head of IT Infrastructure at Capital First Ltd., Program Manager at NSEIT Ltd., and Project Manager at Nayamode USA, Inc.
A Commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai, Naidu has a strong background in IT governance, risk management, and security compliance. In his new role, he will focus on enhancing cybersecurity resilience, protecting sensitive data, and ensuring robust security measures to support Kotak Mahindra Bank’s digital banking initiatives.
