In his new position, Hein will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s worldwide revenue strategy. His leadership portfolio includes overseeing global sales, commercial operations, strategic partnerships, and channel development, with a focus on accelerating business growth and delivering greater value to enterprise customers.
Hein brings more than 25 years of experience leading revenue growth and go-to-market organizations across the global technology sector. Throughout his career, he has built high-performing commercial teams and helped organizations scale their market presence in highly competitive environments.
Prior to joining New Relic, Hein served as Chief Revenue Officer at Darktrace, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s commercial operations. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, and VMware, gaining extensive expertise in cloud computing, enterprise software, digital transformation, and customer engagement.
His appointment comes at a time when organizations worldwide are increasing investments in artificial intelligence, automation, and observability technologies to improve operational efficiency, strengthen system resilience, and enhance digital customer experiences.
