With over 15 years of extensive experience in data science and analytics, Kumar is set to bring his deep expertise in driving data-driven strategies to the organization. Kumar joins Ujjivan from Bajaj Finserv, where he held the position of National Head of Data Science & Engineering. His time at Bajaj Finserv was marked by leadership in managing complex data frameworks and delivering actionable insights that influenced the company’s growth. In addition to Bajaj Finserv, Kumar’s career spans across reputed institutions like Standard Chartered Bank and Citi, where he played pivotal roles in portfolio analytics and developing data-driven strategies.
At Ujjivan, Kumar will spearhead the creation of an Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE). This initiative aims to strengthen the bank’s analytics capabilities and drive impactful innovation. The CoE will focus on deploying advanced analytics tools to provide more personalized solutions for customers, improving overall customer satisfaction.
Kumar’s educational background includes an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Master’s in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University. His blend of academic achievements and practical experience places him in a prime position to steer Ujjivan’s analytics strategy toward continued success.
