NPCI names Benjamin Ambrose as Chief Information Security Officer

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has appointed Benjamin Ambrose as its latest Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With a distinguished career spanning more than twenty years in the fields of information and cybersecurity, Benjamin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Having held positions in esteemed organizations like Wipro in both India and the USA, Citibank in Singapore, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Singapore, Benjamin has acquired valuable skills in addressing a wide array of challenges in the cybersecurity domain. His extensive background includes overseeing global security teams, devising effective strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and advocating for secure cloud adoption.

In his new capacity at NPCI, Benjamin Ambrose is well-positioned to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity framework, safeguarding the integrity and security of its digital operations. His appointment underscores NPCI’s dedication to enhancing its cybersecurity posture and driving innovation in the ever-evolving realm of digital payments.
