NTT Data, a leading technology services company, has appointed Abhijit Dubey as the CEO of its operations outside Japan. Dubey succeeds Kazuhiro Nishihata, while Yo Honma will continue to serve as President and CEO, as well as Representative Director of NTT DATA Group Corporation.
Dubey’s appointment coincides with the completion of the merger between NTT DATA and NTT Ltd., creating a business worth over $30 billion under the NTT DATA name. Dubey previously held the position of CEO at NTT Ltd.

In his new role, Dubey will oversee 150,000 employees worldwide. NTT DATA has expanded its international footprint to approximately $18 billion and holds the sixth-largest market share in the IT services industry globally, according to the company’s statement. NTT DATA provides business and technology consulting, data and artificial intelligence, industry solutions, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services for applications, infrastructure, and connectivity.
An industry veteran, Dubey joined NTT in 2021 from McKinsey & Company, where he spent over 20 years advising many of the world’s leading technology companies and CEOs. He was instrumental in launching and spearheading McKinsey’s global cloud computing efforts
