Pradipta Patro has taken on the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Vice President – Data Privacy at Polycab India Limited, where he will focus on advancing the organization’s cybersecurity and data governance capabilities.
In this role, Pradipta will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of both IT and operational (OT) environments. His mandate includes enhancing cyber resilience, driving regulatory compliance, and enabling secure digital transformation across the enterprise, while working closely with business and operations teams.
With over two decades of experience spanning cybersecurity, IT platforms, and digital transformation, Pradipta brings a combination of strategic leadership and execution expertise. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale security and technology initiatives across global organizations, supporting secure growth, resilience, and enterprise transformation.
Prior to joining Polycab India Limited, he served as Head of Cyber Security & IT Platform at RPG Group based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Before that, he held the position of IT Leader – Digital Transformation, Strategic Program Management, Cyber Security & Service Delivery at Adani Group from April 2016 to September 2021, working across the Mumbai-Ahmedabad region.
Earlier in his career, Pradipta was Assistant Vice President – Head IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security at Tata AIA Life Insurance from December 2007 to March 2016, where he worked on IT infrastructure and security management to support business growth. He also served as Manager – Networks, Telecommunication & Project Management at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co Ltd. from 2005 to 2007 in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Across his professional journey, he has contributed to strengthening enterprise security frameworks, cloud strategy, and technology operations, positioning him to lead Polycab India Limited’s cybersecurity and data privacy agenda.
