Quantum Energy Expands EV Manufacturing Facility in Hyderabad to Meet Soaring Demand

Hyderabad – Hyderabad-based electric vehicle (EV) startup Quantum Energy Ltd. has announced the expansion of its advanced manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram, located near the proposed Future City on the outskirts of Hyderabad. This strategic move aims to scale up production to meet rising demand for eco-friendly mobility solutions while supporting Telangana’s vision of becoming a hub for sustainable and future-ready industries.

The expanded facility spans 2.4 lakh square feet and is built to accommodate a production capacity of 2 lakh electric two-wheelers annually. Designed as a net-zero facility, it reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable industrial practices and aligns with India’s broader push toward clean energy and green mobility.

“This expansion marks a defining milestone in Quantum Energy’s journey,” said Chakravarthi Chukkapalli, Managing Director, Quantum Energy. “As the electric mobility revolution gains pace in India, we aim to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient two-wheelers that are technologically advanced and environmentally responsible. This net-zero facility represents our vision for a cleaner future and our promise of a greener planet to our eco-friendly consumers.”

The company’s current product line includes models such as Plasma, Milan, and Bziness, with more launches on the horizon. These vehicles are engineered to meet the unique demands of Indian roads and weather conditions, combining performance with smart features for the modern commuter.

Quantum Energy is also doubling down on its commitment to last-mile connectivity and broader mobility solutions. As urban centers grow and the demand for cost-effective, sustainable transportation rises, the company is actively developing innovations poised to reshape the electric two-wheeler industry.

Beyond production, the facility is expected to generate substantial employment opportunities in the region, further contributing to the economic development of Telangana and reinforcing the state’s leadership in the national EV ecosystem.
