
Ravi Garg has been appointed Managing Director – Enterprise Business, APAC at Meta, where he will lead the company’s enterprise business portfolio across Asia-Pacific markets. In his new role, he will focus on driving growth across Business Messaging, Meta Business Agents, Muse APIs and other enterprise solutions.
Garg previously served as Country Director – Business Messaging & Payments at WhatsApp, where he led the expansion of the platform’s business messaging and payments operations in India. He held the position from July 2021 to September 2026, overseeing the development and growth of these business operations.
Before joining WhatsApp, Garg spent 13 years at Microsoft, holding senior leadership roles across sales, strategy, business planning and channel management. His experience at the technology company covered multiple aspects of business operations and commercial strategy.
Garg has also held leadership positions at other companies. He served as Chief Operating Officer at Nazara Technologies Limited and held a General Manager role at Sify Technologies Limited. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Brand Manager at Parle Agro Pvt. Ltd.
In his new position at Meta, Garg will be responsible for expanding the company’s enterprise business across APAC markets. His portfolio includes business messaging solutions and AI-driven offerings designed to help organisations engage with customers and support their business operations.
Meta Business Agents and Muse APIs are among the solutions included in his new remit as the company continues to develop its enterprise offerings for businesses across the region.
The appointment marks an expansion of Garg’s responsibilities from leading WhatsApp’s business messaging and payments operations in India to overseeing Meta’s enterprise business portfolio across the Asia-Pacific region.
